Who We Are
We are one of the civil society organizations that is registered with the Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) as a non-governmental organization (NGO). Our goal is to promote community responses on issues related to the different needs of humanitarian work and human security. Mainly PTIO tries to rally the efforts of the academicians, specialists and experts’ communities to participate in building an umbrella of peace and tranquility for human security. PTIO works in various fields to reach the goal of applying the academic research on the grass roots level to face and alleviate the threats to human security.
Objectives

Objectives
- Inculcation among Sudanese citizens the culture of peace, tolerance and democracy.
- Promotion of civil rights, human development and building of capacities.
- Strive to empower Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and to fight disability stigma.
- Increase awareness about the skills and talents of PWDs to reintegrate them in societal life.
- Strive to achieve women empowerment and defend their rights and welfare.
- Work to achieve children and youth rights, care and protection.
- Educate people on environment conservation.
- Make use of research and training institutions.
- Ensure that mines, cluster munitions and other ERW are no longer obstacles to economic and social development.
